I.Development Foundation

Xiamen’s urban modern agriculture comprises planting, animal husbandry, agricultural and sideline products, food processing, rural tourism, and ecological leisure agriculture. The city’s seed and seedling industry has developed rapidly, resulting in four major brands relating to vegetables, fruits, flowers and prawns. Rural tourism has boomed. Twelve villages in the city have been awarded the title of “Beautiful Leisure Village of China”.  Representative enterprises include Yinlu Food, Anjoy Food, Mingsui Grain & Oil, Yinxiang Group, Ruyiqing Group, China Green, Fuhuida Fruits & Vegetables, Haijia Flour, China Tea Xiamen, Empereur Tea, and Paili Holdings.

1. Seeds and seedlings: vegetables, fruits, flowers, and aquatic products. 

2.Planting and breeding: production of main agricultural products. 

3. Produce processing: manufacturing of canned beverages and processing of grain, edible oil, meat products, aquatic products, fruits, vegetables, and feeds. 

4. Produce logistics and services: wholesale markets, sales terminals, cold chain logistics, and agricultural fairs and exhibitions. 

5. Leisure agriculture and rural tourism: agritourism and rural tourism.
