Xiamen is a pioneering city in developing the flat panel display industry and has seen it grow rapidly. Currently, Xiamen has the 5.5th and 6th generation of LTPS production lines, the 6th generation of flexible AMOLED production lines, and the 8.6th generation of new-type display panel production lines, covering a full range of display technologies, including a-Si, LTPS, AMOLED, and Micro-LED. As the world's largest manufacturing hub for high-end touch screen products, Xiamen is home to a plethora of industry-leading enterprises including Tianma Microelectronics, Nippon Electric Glass, TPK, AUO, and TPV Display. A comprehensive industrial chain is now in place in Xiamen, covering every field from glass substrates, panels and modules to LCDs and complete machines. Currently, Xiamen is trying to drive innovation in the upstream suppliers with the needs of downstream customers by fostering key components such as optical films and polarizing films, trying to make breakthroughs in emerging display technologies such as Micro-LED. The objective is to create a range of internatioanl first-rate knockout products including flexible screens, curved screens, and touch screens, and to build a domestically leading and globally competitive base for the new-type flat panel display industry. The optoelectronic display industry in Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone has achieved national recognition as a "five-star" new-industrialization industry demonstration base for three consecutive years. 

II.Development Priorities 

1. New-type display: AMOLED, Micro-LED, Mini-LED, LTPS, OLED and quantum dot display, 3D display, laser display, and holographic display. 

2. New-type electronic components: optoelectronic elements, display driver chips, and new-type electromechanical components. 

3. Core materials and key components supporting new display panels: glass substrates, liquid crystal materials, TAC/PVA films, ITO and alternative new materials, and reflective film targets. 

4. Display terminals: 4K and 8K ultra-high-definition TV display panels, large-size display panels as well as applications in emerging areas such as in-vehicle display, virtual reality, Internet of Things, and 5G.
