Xiamen is home to a large cluster of enterprises manufacturing computers, video conference systems, mobile phone lenses, micromotors, flexible circuit boards, Bluetooth and wireless access equipment, digital audio-visual equipment and vehicle communication, positioning and navigation devices, sensors, etc. The city also hosts many supporting and industrial-chain extension enterprises producing basic components, accessories and peripheral devices and providing IT services. Xiamen’s shipments of computers, servers and monitors are among the highest in China, and the city’s computer brands are globally recognized. In 2022, the output value totaled RMB 121.6 billion. Representative enterprises include: computer manufacturers Dell, Inspur, and Shenzhou Kuntai; mobile phone; communication terminal developers and manufacturers Yealink and Yaxon Network; and electronic component makers Tongda, GSEO, Hualian Electronics, Hongxin Electron-tech, Fuji Electric, Dial Electronic, and TDK.

1. High-performance computers, including general-purpose servers, AI servers, cloud storage equipment manufacturing, information innovation PC and servers, operating systems, databases, middleware and other underlying software, OA, ERP, office software, government applications and other application software, boundary security products, terminal security products and other information security products. 

2. Core devices, network equipment, wireless communication equipment, mobile terminal products oriented towards new-generation network technologies, such as 5G and IPV; and core components and materials for gateways, equipment, and intelligent sensors of the Internet of Things. 

3. Satellite communication, navigation, remote sensing equipment; robots, drones, autopilot systems, automatic control systems and other mid-range and high-end intelligent equipment 

4. Wearable devices and intelligent home products; virtual reality and augmented reality technology R&D and intelligent devices
