In 2022, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery amounted to 6.22 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7 percent over the previous year. Of this total, the agricultural output value was 3.06 billion yuan, up by 3.0 percent; the forestry output value was 15 million yuan, up by 2.9 percent; the animal husbandry output value was 1.22 billion yuan, up by 3.1 percent; the fishery output value was 766 million yuan, down by 5.5 percent; and the services output value in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery as well as auxiliary activities was 1.158 billion yuan, up by 2.2 percent. 

The total sown area of crops was 323.1 thousand hectares in the whole year, down by 2.1 percent. Specifically, the sown area of grain was 62.1 thousand hectares, up by 0.8 percent, while the total grain output was 25.7 thousand tons, an increase of 1.2 percent; the sown area of vegetables was 224.8 thousand hectares, a decrease of 1.9 percent, while the total vegetable output was 557.5 thousand tons, an increase of 0.6 percent. 

The total output of fruit was 71.2 thousand tons, a decrease of 5.4 percent. The total volume of meat as for 2023 reached 36.1 thousand tons, up by 1.3 percent; that of eggs was 2,012.87 tons, down by 18.0 percent; and that of dairy production was 804.41 tons, down by 11.6 percent. 

At the end of the year, 181.2 thousand pigs were registered in the total stocks,down by 14.5 percent, and 373.7 thousand pigs were slaughtered, up by 3.5 percent. 1,470.5 thousand livestock were registered with a decrease of 15.5 percent, and 4,540.6 thousand ones were slaughtered, with a decrease of 0.8 percent. The total output of aquatic products was 64.5 thousand tons, down by 7.3 percent.
